About The Sonnentag
Opening in 2024, The Sonnentag will be the largest indoor event venue in northwestern Wisconsin. Built and operated as a public-private partnership, The Sonnentag was first envisioned in 2014.
Construction began in the spring of 2022 and replaces UW-Eau Claire’s Zorn Arena. The convenient location also is accessible from the Chippewa River State Trail that connects to campus and a bus route to ensure access for all students.

The Sonnentag Store
Located adjacent to the main entrance, The Sonnentag Store offers a wide selection of Bluegold merchandise, as well as a variety of accessories and convenience items. The Store also serves as the main point of purchase and registration for fitness center memberships, programs, classes, and personal training.
