Our personal training packages are available to students, members, and non-members. 

How Do I Purchase Personal Training Services? 

  1. You can purchase personal training services with a credit card at the Membership Desk in The Store.

  2. Our staff will pair you with a personal trainer based on your availability, preferences, and goals. The trainer will then reach out to schedule your first session. 

  3. If you do not receive a response from a trainer within 2 business days, please contact Sharlae Vanis at vaniss@uwec.edu or (715)-836-3232.

  4. Before your first session/assessment, be sure to arrive 15-20 minutes early to fill out a Personal Training Client packet.

First-Time Client? Welcome! 

We’re glad to have you as a new personal training client! You’re in great hands with our trainers who will develop an excellent personalized training program to meet your needs and goals. To do so, the first session with your trainer will be a fitness assessment that consists of various postural evaluations, movement screenings, fitness tests, and body composition measurements, as well as a discussion about the specific goals you’d like to achieve through your sessions. Your trainer will then use this information, along with the information you provided in your personal training client packet, to build your training program.

Nikolas Rasmussen

My name is Nik, and I've been a personal trainer for almost 8 years! I specialize in strength training and interval cardio, have taught a variety of different Group Ex classes, and have coordinated athletic camps for years. I love helping people reach their fitness goals and creating relationships with my clients. Every session is engaging and challenging, and I find that very rewarding. When I'm not at work, I love spending time outside! I'm typically biking, fishing, canoeing, lifting in my home gym, or participating in other adventures.

Hi, I’m Kristi Herbenson a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor and Nutrition Coach. Throughout my many years of personal training, I have educated clients of all ages on how to live a healthy lifestyle.  I love helping others see and experience what their bodies are capable of.  It is my goal to help you achieve a happy and well-balanced lifestyle!
