Fieldhouse Policies
Please follow our policies when visiting The John and Carolyn Sonnentag Fieldhouse. For any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us at sonnentag@uwec.edu or call (715)-836-2000.
- University programming and scheduled events take priority over informal use. Sonnentag staff will provide informal use times to the best of their ability.
- Only tennis shoes, turf shoes, or molded cleats are allowed. No metal or removable cleats are permitted. Cleats must be removed before re-entering the rest of the facility.
- During open play, the field should be shared with other users in a safe manner.
- Water in a non-breakable, spill-proof container is the only beverage allowed.
- Food including, but not limited to, gum and sunflower seeds is prohibited.
- Smoking, smokeless tobacco, electronic cigarettes, vapes, juuls, alcoholic beverages and/or illegal drugs are not permitted in any area of the Sonnentag Center. Facility rentals may be permitted to consume alcoholic beverages and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Weapons and firearms are prohibited.
- Inappropriate/vulgar language and behavior is prohibited.
- Fighting and rough play are prohibited.
- Field house equipment must remain in the field house.
- Spitting is prohibited at all times.
- The use of tape or other marking materials is prohibited on the field and/or walls.
- All trash must be discarded into the proper receptacles.
- Sonnentag Staff have final authority on policies and procedures.
