The Sonnentag Grand Opening Week, September 9–14
Join us the week of September 9th for a week of events to celebrate the grand opening of The Sonnentag! We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone and excited about the opportunities this new facility will bring to our community.
A week-long grand opening celebration is planned around the September 12th ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Sonnentag and features performances from country music superstar Chris Young and legendary comedian Brian Regan. The $122 million facility is the largest indoor event venue in northwest Wisconsin and home to University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugold athletics.
In addition to the national acts, grand opening activities will include an open house at the building on Menomonie Street, a salute to first responders, and The Sonnentag's first intercollegiate athletics competition.
We look forward to seeing you during this week of festivities as we embark on this exciting new chapter together!
